Rep. Luttrell does an impressive job of dissecting the proffered approach at controlling – or not controlling - terrorism. At 2:25 into the 5:30 segment, Rep. Luttrell mentions a book I wrote about a terror attack on a Russian school 20 years ago, titled Terror at Beslan: A Russian Tragedy With Lessons For America’s Schools. It makes me a little proud – and more than a little humbled - that so many years later the book is still remembered on occasion and maybe continues to have some small impact. Especially being mentioned in such an important proceeding. It is good people have not forgotten the horror that was Beslan. There are many out there who continue to want to repeat that terror attack on children and other innocent people, to include bringing it to the US. With thanks to Rep. Luttrell for this honorable mention and his continued noble service to America.
